Lena had the opportunity to attend the Evergreen Park Library’s Job Fair this past weekend! 🎉

We invited several of our WTC job seekers to join us so we could support them in navigating the event and connecting with employers that align with their goals and skill sets. Lena also had the chance to meet individuals who are currently seeking support on their employment journey.

With over 200 attendees and a great lineup of employers and community agencies, the event created meaningful opportunities for job seekers of all kinds.

Thank you to the Evergreen Park Library for the invitation—we had a fantastic time and look forward to future collaborations! 👏

Community Partners Matter!

Meet WTC job seeker Shannan. Shannan is an active job seeker and a dedicated college student — balancing it all isn’t easy!

She recently had an appointment scheduled with the WTC team to review her job search progress, but ran into an unexpected obstacle: her crutches broke, making it unsafe for her to leave the house — especially in winter conditions.

Thanks to our incredible partners at , we were able to quickly connect and secure a new pair. Shannan made it to her appointment and knocked out several job applications!

We are so grateful for strong community partnerships that help remove barriers and keep our job seekers moving forward. 💙

WTC had a fantastic time at AERO’s recent Resource Fair! 🎉

We loved connecting with students and families and helping break down how to navigate employment services. There’s nothing better than meeting face-to-face and supporting families as they explore available resources and opportunities.

We have a couple more events coming up in March — and we’d love to see you there!

📍 March 8th – Evergreen Park Library Job Fair
📍 March 25th – Navigating Resources and Services for Individuals with Disabilities
Hosted by WTC at CFI
100 W Plainfield Rd., Countryside, IL 60525

Come out and see us!
