Our little bakers had a SWEET week full of hands-on learning, creativity, and lots of fun last week! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳💕

From puff painting and cupcake ring toss to sprinkle math, chocolate chip number sorting & matching, letter hunting in icing, and donut color sorting just to name a few our little learners mixed education with a whole lot of fun! 🎨🔢🔤🌈

Our summer days are filled with meaningful play and exciting discoveries! ☀️

Last week, our preschoolers enjoyed exploring outdoors. They designed and tested aluminum foil boats, sorted colorful gems to build early math and fine motor skills, danced and explored with sensory scarves, and searched for hidden treasures in our pirate-themed sensory bins. 🚤💎🌈🏴‍☠️

While the children were having fun, they were also developing problem-solving skills, creativity, language, teamwork, and confidence through play. Every activity is thoughtfully planned to encourage curiosity, learning, and joyful experiences.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your child's learning journey. We love watching them grow, explore, and create new memories each day! 💛

🍦 Ice Cream Week was a sweet success! 🍦

Our little learners had so much fun celebrating Ice Cream Week! From creating colorful ice cream crafts and sensory activities to enjoying ice cream-themed games and stories, every day was filled with smiles, laughter, and hands-on learning. The children explored colors, practiced fine motor skills, and made wonderful memories with their friends.

Fine Motor Sprinkle Station

Children will strengthen their fine motor skills by using tweezers, scoops, and their fingers to pick up, sort, and transfer colorful sprinkles into ice cream cones, cups, and muffin liners. This activity promotes hand-eye coordination, pincer grasp development, color recognition, counting, and early math skills through playful, hands-on learning.

Puffy Paint Ice Cream Art

Children will create colorful ice cream cones using puffy paint to decorate scoops with swirls, sprinkles, and toppings. Squeezing and spreading the paint helps build hand strength and fine motor control while encouraging creativity, color exploration, and self-expression.

Ice Cream Oobleck Sensory Play

Children will explore ice cream-themed oobleck by scooping, pouring, squeezing, and mixing the unique sensory material with colorful sprinkles, toy ice cream cones, cups, and scoops. This activity encourages scientific discovery, sensory exploration, language development, and fine motor skills as children investigate how the oobleck behaves like both a liquid and a solid.

Painting with Ice Cream Cones

Children will use ice cream cones as painting tools by dipping the bottoms or edges into paint to stamp and roll colorful designs onto paper. This process art activity encourages creativity, strengthens hand muscles, develops hand-eye coordination, and introduces children to different textures and painting techniques.

Walking on Eggs – Preschool Science Experiment

The "Walking on Eggs" experiment is a fun way for preschoolers to learn about science. Even though eggs look fragile, many eggs placed together can support a person's weight because the force is spread evenly across all the eggs.

Children observed what happened, made predictions, and discovered that the shape of an eggshell makes it surprisingly strong. This hands-on activity encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and early STEM learning while introducing simple concepts such as balance, weight distribution, and observation.

🍕 Our school-agers became little chefs on Thursday, creating their very own pizzas for lunch! Fun, creativity, and delicious smiles all around!

Come join us Saturday October 21st from 1:30 - 3. There will be a bubble party, music, face painting and food. We look forward to seeing everyone!
