Started off as aluminum cans then transformed into a plant
06/05/2022
Took a break from my plant yesterday and went to a craft fair instead hosted by located . So many great vendors! I did find some great items and wished I could afford it all. I did walked out with a couple great items. Will post at a later date ( one is a present). Then went to a nursery and went crazy buying house plants! Need to start pumping out more macrame hangers.
I really need to get my act together and apply to do craft fairs. I did apply for one but was rejected for this summer, so that kind of bummed me out. I thought my stuff was unique, I never see anyone selling at craft fairs what I make. Oh well Iβm not going to dwell over it.
Back to my messy desk to get this little plant finished while listening to this much needed rain.
Have a great Sunday friends.
Cans cleaned, cut, cleaned again, stripped, painted and cut into leaves. Next step assemble little plant.

Iβve gotten a new obsession with air plants. With that said I needed something to display them in and got to crafting some hangers. 1st hanger I made up. The little pots on it are repurposed KCups. For the 2nd one (Iβve already made 3 of these I found the pattern .
Back to making more.

While out walking in the neighborhood I saw these beautiful Cape Bugle Lilies and created my own little version of them using aluminum cans that Iβve stripped the graphics off of and painted with alcohol inks. Iβm happy with how they turned out. Just need to finish it up for its debut in my Etsy shop.

Iβve been radio silent lately and taking a break from social media. Iβve been so crazy busy at my full time job these past couple weeks that Iβve just been taking a little breather. But was so happy last week I got my 1,000 sale!
Making little ferns today out of recycled cans and pot is made from a repurposed K-Cup.
One of a kind dragonfly made out of aluminum cans.
Made these little beauties yesterday. Hard to believe these are just repurposed aluminum cans!!
I love creating but hate making Etsy listings! I have a bunch of items I just need to hunker down and get to photographing and listingπ¬
