Tweed-clad cyclists pedal through London in vintage style parade Tweed jackets fluttered and bowler hats bobbed as hundreds of cyclists took to London's streets ​on Saturday for the city's annual Tweed Run, ‌a leisurely ride that focuses more on sartorial splendour than speed.

The 2026 Corvallis Tweed Ride. A hardy band of 19 riders were undaunted by the rainy forecast. Fortunately, Mother Nature bestowed us with only the slightest drizzle.

The weather forecast calls for classic Oregon weather tomorrow. The ride will proceed rain or shine, so dress appropriately and be ready to glisten with superiority! (We are not discouraging cosplaying Mary Poppins, if you want to.🌂)

This year's route features the "pathways of Southtown." Following a short parade lap downtown (up the riverfront and down 2nd St), we'll proceed to Southtown where we'll encounter many of the non-motorized pathways between the streets. The 10 mile route includes a picnic at the Rotary Shelter in Willamette Park, conveniently located at the halfway point. The route concludes for an after-party at Common Fields downtown.
