Hope Spring Gardens
Hope Spring Gardens has been open to the public since September 2008. The nursery is situated in the .5 acre backyard at 2960 SW Morris Ave.
Thus it qualifies as a genuine Backyard Nursery! It is and has been a labor of love and much learning for Nancy Herron the owner and now also for her two lovely and exuberant assistants- Maddy Otto and Amina Hassan.

Such incredible weather for April and early May has given the plants a good 4-6 week head start compared to our past soggy
springs! The Japanese maples are especially lovely and the crape myrtles are so AWAKE! (no longer dormant).
Hope Spring Gardens is donating plants and designing a garden bed at Corvallis Caring Place. We'll be working with volunteers on Fri 4/26/ 5-7 pm Sat. 9-3 (and Sun 12-4 if not able to finish up on Saturday). We're trucking in soil and bark mulch. If interested in joining us give a holler or just show up. Bring (labelled) garden tools if you have any. If none just bring good energy and good weather!
My first 2013 customers arrived today. They were very taken with the blooming flowering quince and Harry Lauder's Walking Stick-both lovely winter interest and early spring bloomers. Thank you Anita for bringing your friend and family!
Hope Spring Gardens will be donating 20% of retail profits to two local non-profit entities Mid-Valley NAMI and Love INC. during May and June of this year. They both provide extremely valuable services and are deserving of our support.
