I’m so proud of my little mare! We tried something different to help motivate one of my students but got so much more in return! Cross training with Western Dressage has improved my mare more than I would have ever guessed! Thank you Western Dressage Association of America WDAA for putting on a great show! I look forward to competing at more of your shows!

We had a great weekend showing at the NW Classic this weekend! This was a first time for this horse in both showmanship and horsemanship! He nailed it! But most of all I’m so proud of the growth I’ve seen in this girl! She is growing into quite the confident horseman!

Don’t be a diva, we do hard things!
I found myself saying this to my horse today and as I walked away from our ride it continued to repeat in my mind over and over. It’s a truth we can all live by, hard things will come and if you have any sort of goal your aspiring to you may even experience hard things almost every day. But success is found in pushing through, doing it right, doing it well or at least trying your hardest! Failure is inevitable at times but only makes us stronger if we are willing to learn the lessons it’s teaching us to move forward. For this mare it was having to ride in an arena full of water, less than ideal conditions, especially for a horse that doesn’t love water. But we pushed through and in the end she is better for it! So when life throws you a curve and you find yourself faced with the hard things in less than ideal conditions remind yourself not to be a diva, you do hard things! You’ve got this!

And that’s a wrap! We are officially done with a 5 virtual horse show series! I’m so proud of my riders and all the hard work they have put into it! Now onto the live shows! 🎉
