Good morning Oregon !

We have had time to think and process the sudden changes and move that the USARL has taken.

It is not lost on us here in Oregon how small of a part we have in the larger picture of Rugby League in the USA , however none the less we are a part of it. With no discussion or input, even a social media post, club registration was changed and the delay of clubs to register have also now put what plans we were working on in jeopardy and also has put more strain on yet again being able to kick off.

There never was a clear line of how to communicate with USARL and most was done through the PCRL, Even when having discussions and ORL making known the very low and strained finances there are. Suggestions where given that simply where not achievable.

Were does this leave ORL and how do we continue to move forward? We Will continue to recruit, continue to engage online and share as much national rugby league content as possible and we will begin to reach out to ALL in the coming weeks in order to kick off some type of match here in the 33rd state.
We hope that amongst the current and newly formed clubs in the America's someone will answer the call and help us grow, we also hope the USARL be willing to support us in our pursuit to kick off and welcome , as always, positive dialog.

IF WE WISH TO GROW THIS WONDERFUL GAME AND PROVE DOUBTERS WRONG THEN WE NEED TO MOVE TOGETHER. NOT WORK IN SERVICE OF THE FEW.

very concerned that the USARL has waited till now to drastically change the competition landscape, this only delays and threatens the competition. We understand that we are but a small group. However, changes do affect. Statement to come later.
