You learn something new everyday. Today I learned that wasps nests interfere with wireless routers. The Econo Lodge in Albany called me today and said they were having issues with the wi-fi. I went over and spent 2 hours trying to figure it out. Turns out that the wi-fi located on the outside of the building had 4 or 5 wasps nets on it and once I cleared them out, everything was back to normal.

I'm in the Phone book now!!

Replaced a hard drive today and the client did not have their system restore disks. She had to go out and by new Operating System disks. Please make sure you create those so that it doesn't cost you more money.

Busy day today. Going to Albany to work on three printers at one office complex, then off to a residence to replace a motherboard, then to Lebanon to replace another motherboard. :)

Felt bad for Daniel today. He is a 12 year old boy who was trying to build a computer from scratch. He had a class on how to do it and the teacher didn't teach them properly. He knew nothing about anti static straps. Anyways, he screwed the mother board to the metal plate in the desktop and fried it when he applied the power. One dead mobo.
