In cases where a caregiver unknowingly leaves his or her child in a vehicle, often a distraction such as a call from work, stress or a change from the normal routine triggers the driver into ‘auto-pilot’ mode. Put the phone away, place an item related to the child in the front seat, and set reminders that will help you reach your child’s destination.

You may find that pregnancy brings feelings that worry you or those who care about you. If you feel sad, angry, or nervous in pregnancy or after birth, it's a good idea to speak to your doctor. They may ask you more questions, and give you options to help you with those hard feelings. Feeling this way doesn't mean that you're a bad parent, or that you did something wrong. You deserve to feel good!

Starting solids and overwhelmed by the mess? Try these tips!
🍐A splat mat (goes under your baby’s high chair to make clean-up easier)
🍠Better bibs (go for full coverage and easy-to-clean, invest in more than one)
🍎A simple highchair (fancy ones with lots of cushions seem nice, but are hard to clean!)
🥑A stash of washable cloths (microfiber works great for the whole eating area and your little one’s face and hands)

Q: Yesterday, your breastfed baby who’s starting solids ate half a sweet potato. Today, she won’t take a single bite! What’s wrong?
A: Nothing! Babies who are starting solids have days when they eat more, days when they eat less, and days when they reject solids completely. Don’t worry. Try again tomorrow. You’re doing great, and so is your baby!

All car seats are safe to use, but the safest one is the one that fits your child’s age/height/weight/developmental needs; fits your vehicle; and you can use it correctly every time. For help finding a car seat, visit https://bit.ly/382yytA
