New product alert! BYO Bounskee offers a new way to disPLAY your art!

Our new BACKBOARD FRAMES come with a traceable template so you can draw out a backboard design, cut it out to fit in your frame and show it off on your Bounskee (not included).

Easy to swap out so you can change the appearance of your Bounskee again and again as you are inspired. We also have a template file so you can make a design on your computer and print it out. Great for themed parties, special occasions, just for fun….

Or if you like blending sport with your art, you can have a tournament where everyone draws a backboard paper and you play to win your opponent’s creative work (that’s one idea, anyway).

If you know someone who would have fun with this, why not share this post with them? Available in both backboard styles along with the game sets on our website: bounskee.fun (link in bio)

*requires 11x17 paper. No prob for drawing (just need the paper), but FYI if you are thinking about printing.

If you’ve been following our Bounskee Night recaps, I apologize for dropping the balls this month. All 3 nights were fun- as they almost always are (except the one or two times in the past when no one showed up). There were plenty of exciting moments and the numbers are documented in our official event history and stats. In place of 3 late recaps, I’ll just share these pics from all 3 and will plan to prioritize prompter recaps next month. !

Congrats to the Willamette Valley Jaguars for a decisive victory over their opponents for their final home game of the season! We ran a little high score contest in the lobby and saw some pretty impressive scores! 1st place went to 9 year old Jemyni, 2nd place went to 70-something year old Kim, and 3rd place went to Jemyni’s dad Jaymes- which just goes to show you anyone can win and that is part of Bounskee’s charm. 330, 330, 300 points- all excellent scores that will be seen on the first screen of stats. This was a kind of a last minute plan, but we look forward to working some Bounskee excitement into more sporting events. Go Jags! (How about that backboard, huh?)

Another successful Bounskee Night at in Corvallis! 15 people played in total- 9 regular ballers and 6 newcomers. It was a momentous night for me, personally, because just certified as an official Shotcaller so now I can enter the competition when she’s there! I played pretty solid for my “first night” and was able to win/keep 2 of the 3 baller chips that I was prepared to shell out. A baller saved is a baller earned, ya know?

didn’t make it easy. She was nailing some hundred point shots scoring 430 points in the High Score Contest (to my meager 150), claiming that baller chip. She was hittin hundies in the Classic Bouts mini-tourney too, going 4-2, but I went 5-1 to keep that baller chip. I also won the Overflow Contest with a score of 3 in 29.47 seconds. In hindsight, I don’t feel quite right about gunning so hard for the mini-tourney chip. In the future, I won’t challenge anyone- but I won’t back down from any challenge either! And I have no problem entering the other contests where everyone only gets one official entry per day.

Props to for beating me at my own game. He currently holds the highest average score in official Classic Bouts, but it’s possible I shot straight to the top there… we’ll see when I get around to stats. It’s a busy weekend and we have 2 weeks off of Bounskee Night so it may be next week before I crunch numbers (unless I choose to do that as a distraction from probably more important business…which is entirely possible).

A couple changes to the Bounskee Night schedule will be announced soon, but Benchwarmers ain’t budging so we’ll be back the 2nd Tuesday in June! Put it on your calendar?

Congratulations to for completing her training and becoming an official Bounskee Shotcaller! She’s been wanting the “special designation” for awhile and I am proud of her determination, attentiveness, and enthusiasm throughout her training. I’m especially stoked because: A. Now I don’t have to do all of the “official” shotcalling, myself and B. Now I can participate in the competitions when she’s there! We just can’t “officially” play each other until someone else is certified… definitely something to look forward to! In the meantime, I’ll be playing for keeps (I’m not thaaat good) with my coveted baller chips at Bounskee Nights when Carolina is around to call some shots. I know there are a few ballers who would like to put me in my place…bring it on!
