The Oregon Section of the American Chemical Society is pleased to host NORM 2017, the 72nd Northwest Regional Meeting from June 25-28, 2017 in Corvallis, Oregon at the LaSells-Stewart Center on the Oregon State University campus. This conference will be bubbling with enthusiasm, excitement, sessions, workshops, tours, congeniality, and we hope your participation. Prominent speakers are coming from
Oregon State University, Reed College, Portland State University, Washington State University, University of Portland, University of Oregon, and other major institutions. Exciting research presentations will delve into timely topics such as green chemistry, nanotechnology, biotechnology and biomedicine, along with environmental, atmospheric, polymer, industrial, and nuclear chemistry, and, of course, the chemistry of Oregon's famous beers and wine. Corvallis's central location on the West Coast of the United States, lead us to expect at least 600 attendees from academia, government and industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a number of social events, including an opening night reception, a tour of the Linus Pauling collection at the OSU Valley Library, tours and the NORM 2017 Awards Banquet.
