Started the night strong and felt good about the car. Decided to make a change that I thought would help before the main & it did not haha. You live and learn!

We plan to take this weekend off to spend time with family and hit the two day Ralph Bloom Memorial race back at Cottage Grove August 14-15!

Getting ready to rip here at Cottage Grove Speedway! Hope to do good and finish in one piece!

No racing for us this week, taking the weekend off to go over the car so we’re ready for some big races coming up! Good luck to everyone else racing today!

Mayhem was almost the story last night

Qualified: 1st out of 5
Heat Race: P3–>P3
Main Event: P4–>P1

Unloaded with the same speed we had last week qualifying 1st overall.

Heat race was shortened due to too many restart attempts. Some of us were just too eager to show the speed we had🤷🏼‍♂️

Main event was supposed to start 4th. Couple drivers decided to start in the back so we started outside pole. Took a couple laps to find a rhythm but, once we did we didn’t look back. Track was different and fun to try and find traction. 

That’s win #2 on the season for us & win #6 of my career.

We will get our maintenance done for the week and see when & where our next race will be, might just have to make a trip south😉

What. A. NIGHT!

After about 2 months off of racing. The crew and driver went out to Willamette Speedway to get in a race and make sure the changes we made worked.

Qualified 2nd out of 5
Trophy Dash: P3–>P2
Heat Race: P4–>P2
Main Event: P4–>P1

1st win of the season and 5th of my career. Unloaded with some good speed. Made a couple of adjustments. That compounded with unlucky spots had us finish 2nd in both the heat and trophy dash. In the main, didn’t want to play follow the leader on the bottom and moved to the top. There was just enough for me to get around the leader on the last lap! Good win for our team going into the 2nd half of the season.
