Due to unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances we will not be in attendance at the Sportmod Smackdown this weekend. We want to wish a good luck to everyone that will be there!!

Decided to run down to Cottage Grove Speedway yesterday after work.

Hot laps: didn’t make it in time
Heat Race: P6–>P4
Main Event: P5–>P5

We didn’t make hot laps so first laps of the year for us on the track was in the heat race. Started in the back and felt like our speed was there just didn’t have anywhere to go to move forward. Main event was supposed to start 11th but with late cars and the track trying to beat the weather we started P5. Drove up to 2nd, spun out, drove it back to 4th. It was a decent night for our first IMCA race of the year.

No racing today for us but, we are going to try and make it to a race track Saturday! Which race track? We don’t know yet with weather pending of course! If we race we will be showing up late due to work schedule but we still plan on making it somewhere!

Unfortunately no racing for us this weekend, sucks to be missing out but don’t worry you’ll be seeing this #73 GRT a lot in the second part of the summer 😉
