The thigh high boot or the other?
Every piece had a purpose today.
Breathable, functional and ready to move.
White designs aren’t requested often and yes white fabric looks clean, simple, effortless.
But Shuga……..it’s the most unforgiving thing you can put your hands on. When I sew there’s No makeup, No lip gloss. No touching my face then touching the fabric. I’m wiping my hands constantly.
I’m watching where the fabric falls every second, checking my iron, ironing board and tools. Everything has to be spotless.
Because one mark… one smudge… one slip… and it’s over!
Yet ya’ll be hollering “It’s just a simple white dress.” But nothing about this process is simple. Which is why how it’s made and who makes it matters.

I’m stepping into a more refined, elevated version of myself. More intentional, polished and aligned.
Hitting the stage at my 2025 fashion show you see bold, colorful, fun. I hit the stage at this 2026 fashion show, sleek, controlled and refined. Both are me, however, I choose how I want to be perceived.
I can walk into a room and be soft. I can walk into a room and be powerful, or can walk into a room and be unforgettable. I don’t do it by accident. That’s the difference between just getting dressed and understanding your image.
My question is, are you in control of what it’s saying?
I help women align how they look with who they are, and where they’re going. So when they walk into a room, there’s no confusion about their presence.
If you’ve been feeling like your look isn’t matching your level, let’s fix that immediately.

There was a time I would’ve NEVER hit the stage in all black.
I’m a color girl. I like bold and bright colors.
But this night was about being intentional. Every single thing I put on had a purpose:
✔️The black - to refine my silhouette and minimize what I didn’t want emphasized, hello!
✔️The monochrome - to create a sleek, elevated, clean, no distraction presence
✔️The silver accessories - gave edge without overpowering
✔️The heels - because they deserved a moment, and I built the look around them (You had to see them in person to really catch the essence
If you’re ready to be seen differently, it starts with how you present yourself.

Whew… let me tell y’all something.
Every year before this pop-up shop, I get nervous. Like real…….. nervous.
The night before I’m laying in bed thinking, “KD… have you lost your mind!?” The audacity, the nerve, the balls it takes to plan a whole event and just believe people are going to show up. But God come through every time 🙌🏾
The pop-up started at 11:00 AM, and by 10:20 AM there was already a line outside the door. If you haven’t secured your prom dress yet, don’t worry there are still a few gowns available, back flip into my DM and I’ll see if I can get you taken care of.
This was my third year hosting the Prom Pop-Up Shop, and every single year it gets better. I’m not a business owner who has it all figured out. But what I do have is the courage to try, the willingness to fail, the willingness to learn the lesson and the boldness to get back up and do it again.
To everyone who believes in me, and cheers from the sidelines…Thank you. You probably don’t realize how much that belief pushes me to keep going.

I literally meet the sweetest people every year during the Prom Pop Up Shop. The girlies and their parents were awesome. Dope vendors. The event space was very nice. The best part is I let many customers name a fair price and they secured a gown 🤗
