Netroots For The Troops® is a project of Netroots for the Troops, Inc., a Virginia non-profit corporation. Netroots For The Troops, Inc.
is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. For seven years, the non-profit Netroots for the Troops® raised money to send hundreds of specially designed Care Packages to U.S. combat troops deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. These packages have included the practical, such as gloves, gel shoe insoles, socks, sand scarves, powdered energy drinks and LED flashlights, as well as the recreational, such as DVD

Team Up for the Troops 2012 Our mission is two-fold: annual shipment of Care Packages to US soldiers in serving in hostile regions of Iraq and Afghanistan for the duration of their deployment, and on-going financial assistance for veterans and their families upon their return to the states. As time permits we'll post more pictures from previous years as well as some letters from recipients.
The pictures of recipients are Marines from the 1/3. We've supported units from the 3rd Marine Division the last three years.
