What is your concept of a relapse?

At Oasis, we don't see it as a failure. We see it as an indication of an incomplete relapse prevention plan, and maybe indication that there is more healing, connection, and self-discovery needed.

We believe that personal growth is one of the important assets needed in recovery. At Oasis Revive, we share our personal growth experiences and encourage one another to grow toward successful recovery.

You can learn far more in a group setting by listening to others share the lessons they have learned and what they struggle with than by sitting alone and pondering what you've been through (although that is not a bad thing to do!).

What is one thing you've learned on your recovery journey?

The increasing distress and isolation because of COVID-19 highlight the absolute NEED to have a network of people you can talk to openly and honestly, especially for your mental health and to prevent going back to bad coping habits, such as additions.

Oasis Revive is a faith/Bible based fellowship for people who want to be in a safe enough environment to talk openly about their struggles and get support from like-minded people who understand because we have gone through it ourselves.

We know that online chatting, video chatting, or a phone call doesn't replace in-person, face-to-face communication, but it is better than nothing! Let's make the best of it! Our hope is that you use this page to comment, message, and share, and our team leaders will do our best to respond to your comments and questions.
