We had a "Beast of a Feast" at the recent Wildlife Tasting Supper held April 11 at the Crossroads Arena! There were 250 in attendance with 103 dishes judged. There was lots of tasty wild game dishes including deer, turkey, rabbit, pheasant, salmon, goose, wild hog, and more plus desserts. The annual supper included a new event, a Casting Challenge sponsored by Lew’s® for youth and adults hosted by David Fritts, former Bassmaster Classic Champion. Additionally, the annual turkey and duck calling contests for youth were held during the event. We would like to thank all of our sponsors and those who provided door prizes!
For our raffles, Jake Curtis Hunt won the Mississippi Youth Lifetime Hunting License. Jimmy Drewery, Hunter Null, and Bro. Randy Marchant won the gun raffles. Jerry Brown won the 4-H 5/50 raffle.
The first annual Joe Garrett and Bobby Garrett Memorial Wildlife Dish Award went to long-time event supporter, Joe Caldwell, for his Smoked Rabbit Boudin!

Casting Challenge starting soon! Come sign up starting at 3:30 pm. Challenge begins at 4 pm!
We are excited to have David Fritts host a Casting Challenge 🎣 for youth and adults sponsored by Lew's. This will be an exciting event. Be sure to come early as slots are limited. Registration will begin at 3:30 pm prior to doors opening for the wildlife supper to allow time for the competition!
