Tishomingo Arts Council's Second Annual "View from Woodall" Online Juried Art competition is now accepting submissions from artists across Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee, but the window will close this evening, January 9.

The VfW is an open-themed competition, named for TAC's annual arts and literary magazine "The View from Woodall"
This year's VfW is judged by renowned Tennessee Artist H.R. Lovell and will accept submissions in the following categories:

1. Painting
2. Drawing
3. Photography
4. Digital Art

The following placements will be awarded in each category:

First Place - $100 and publication in "The View from Woodall"

Second Place - $50 and publication in "The View from Woodall"

Third Place - publication within "The View from Woodall"
An overall winner will be selected, garnering an additional $100 as well as cover placement on the 2022 issue of "The View from Woodall."

Entry Deadline: January 9, 2022

Winners announced: January 28, 2022

Entrants should submit digital images of work (with a size of at least 1000 pixels on longest edge) via email to [email protected] along with artist name, bio, title of work (if applicable), medium, and artist contact information.
Emails should be sent with subject line: View from Woodall 2022

An entry fee of $10 is required for each submission, and submissions are capped at no more than three per artist.

Entry fees may be paid via PayPal to [email protected].
