Today is the "official" start of summer, even though it seems like it has been summer for some time!
Please be careful with the heat! Stay safe, and check on your neighbors, especially the elderly and those with health issues.

Happy Father's Day!
Just a woman often fills so many roles, we must remember all the men who are fathers or stepfathers or serve in some way as a the male figure for our youth.
And, of course, our fathers who are no longer with us. It has been many years since my father died, but I still spend so many days wishing I could talk to him and hear his advice and wisdom.
To all fathers---God bless you and I hope you have a great weekend and very happy Father's Day.

In Pennsylvania, the bald eagle is a protected species under the Game and Wildlife Code.
We should be proud of our collective efforts to protect the Bald Eagle. These efforts have resulted in bald eagles being found throughout the Commonwealth, with several being seen right here in the 45th District!
