Art, art and more art. It's a wonderfully, creative day at CBHS. Collage art in Ecology and Valentine's cards for the nursing home during Art Club!

Before the Christmas break, Mrs. Underwood's and Mrs. Marrie's students painted ornaments that coincided with their classes. Mrs. Underwood's class was Tennessee History and Mrs. Marrie's was English. As you can see, the students did a fantastic job representing their themes!

The wonderful students at Copper Basin Elementary created the collaborative art piece for this year's Youth Art Month reception at the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association. The theme was Take a Journey Through Art. From 6th grade down to pre-K, they made it happen! I love how it turned out! ❤

So proud of these kids for their amazing artwork and wonderful presence at the Youth Art Month reception last Wednesday! Thank you all for your hard work and patience to get everything ready. You are truly a gift!

The talented and wonderful Copper Basin High School art club students during their drawing exercises in after school! It is amazing what they can do!

MORE pictures from our print making lesson! The joy of creating!!

Students at the elementary school were introduced to print making recently. They created their own designs and learned a simple process and one version of the print making process. Fun, fun, fun!

This was such a fun, fulfilling art experience in December with the wonderful students of Mrs. Larson and Mrs. Barker. A keepsake for years to come and many smiles later, these painted Christmas lanterns from jars were created!
