2016 - 2023

I’ll try to make this short. Marci Brooks posted a picture today of Drayton Michael and Josh Brooks this morning that Scott took. This simple picture reflects a wonderful story. These two boys walking together had dad’s that grew up together in Coppell. Drayton and Scott went to school and church together. Their lives went in different directions after school as they started their families and pursued their carriers.
God had a plan for Drayton Shanks and Scott that I don’t think anyone that grew up with them would have predicted. By The Lord’s providence he brought them together to build The Door Church. It’s been a blessing to see what God has done through these two men. I love both of you and pray that God will bless you and protect you as you work together in spreading the Word of our Savior to a new generation. I pray that The Lord will watch over the two boys in this picture and mold them into men just like their dads.
