Vigilant Engine Company

Bentley has been an active member of his community from a young age. He has served as a Copiague Junior Fireman and a Junior Snail, and hopes to one day follow in his father’s footsteps by joining Vigilant Engine Company.

At St. Martin of Tours School, Bentley was a member of the Heroes Club, participating in volunteer projects that helped his community. He also served as President of the National Junior Honor Society and earned several honors, including the prestigious Principal’s Award.

This fall, Bentley will continue a proud family tradition by attending Holy Trinity High School, following in the footsteps of his Poppy and Dad.

Congratulations, Bentley! Your commitment to service, leadership, and academic excellence has already made a positive impact. We wish you all the best as you begin this exciting new chapter.

The Vigilant Engine Company was proud to attend the dedication and wet down ceremony for Lindenhurst Fire Department’s apparatus:

Engine 1-6-2, Engine 1-6-6, Rescue 1-6-7, and Rescue 1-6-17.

It was an honor to join fellow firefighters, department members, families, and community supporters in celebrating this important tradition.

This Memorial Day weekend, the members of Vigilant Engine Company would like to wish everyone a happy, safe, and blessed holiday weekend.

As we gather with family and friends, we also pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten.
