Yesterday, in honor of Earth Day, we were blown away by the incredible amount of e‑waste collected thanks to the support of the Sun City community. From old electronics to long-forgotten devices, every item dropped off makes a real difference for our planet.

Due to an expected snowstorm, the County-Wide Shredding Event originally scheduled for January 24 has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 21, 2026. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We are excited to see you in March for secure document shredding and community recycling.

Clear the clutter securely and responsibly! Join us for Rockdale County’s Countywide Shredding & E-Recycling Event and safely dispose of sensitive documents and approved electronics — FREE for residents. **Weather Permitting

🕘 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (or until trucks are full)
