🌉 THE BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATERS 🌉

Today marked the final day of orientation before our induction into the Brotherhood of the 💯 Black Men of DeKalb.

What an incredible journey it has been.

From climbing Arabia Mountain and reflecting on leadership, wellness, resilience, and purpose… to learning from elected officials, community leaders, healthcare executives, and legendary members who helped build this organization… every moment reinforced what it truly means to lead.

This process has been about much more than membership.

It has been about self-awareness before leadership.
Discipline before influence.
Service before recognition.
Brotherhood before self.

Standing at the summit of Arabia Mountain, leading stretches, sharing prayer, and reflecting on the responsibility we carry as men reminded me that leadership isn’t about titles—it’s about impact.

The afternoon at Emory Hillandale Hospital challenged us to think beyond ourselves and consider the legacy we leave for generations to come. Then we closed the evening at 100 Wednesdays, building relationships and connections with some of the most influential leaders throughout Metro Atlanta.
am forever grateful to my mentor, President-Elect Vaughn Irons, for taking me under his wing and helping me navigate this journey.

Special thanks to my brothers:
👑 Nate Jabar () for opening the door and connecting me to 💯 Black Men of DeKalb.

👑 Jonathan Mincy Sr. () for aligning me with the groundbreaking 💯 Kings Football Program—the first sports initiative in the history of the 100 Black Men of America.

Hik’N Wit Bank was more than a hike… it was therapy, brotherhood, peace, and purpose all in one experience. 💯🏔️

Salute to Big Bro for using his platform to create a safe space where people can strengthen their bodies, clear their minds, and reconnect with purpose in a chaotic world.

This was my first time hiking at Sweetwater Creek and that trail was a MONSTER 😅🔥… but every step was worth it. The conversations, the laughs, the wisdom, the accountability, and the energy between powerful Black Kings and Beautiful Nubian Queens striving to become better mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally was priceless.

Grateful for all the Kings who pulled up:

The brotherhood is REAL. Iron sharpens iron. We continue pushing each other to live purpose-driven lives and become the men God called us to be.

This experience was monumental… and definitely a moment I’ll cherish forever. 🦁🙏🏾💯

What an EPIC night at the 100 Black Men of DeKalb Gala. Black excellence was on full display from the moment you walked through the doors. The vision, the leadership, the professionalism, the legacy… it was truly another level.

The 100 Black Men of DeKalb have built one of the most powerful mentoring movements in the nation, and I’m honored to be connected to something this impactful. Tonight was bigger than a gala — it was a glimpse into the future of our community.

Special salute to my brothers Nate Jabar and Jonathon Mincy Sr. Together we have launched the FIRST sports program in the history of the 100 Black Men of America 🇺🇸 organization across 102 chapters. Football 🏈, Track 🏃🏾‍♂️, Baseball ⚾️, Basketball 🏀 and Golf ⛳️ — we are introducing a whole new wave to the 💯.

Tonight the people only received a small preview of what’s coming with this football program… but trust me, this is only the beginning. LOOKING FORWARD to building champions, mentoring young kings, and bringing NATIONAL titles home with our 7U team. 🏆

I have not officially been inducted into the 💯 BMOD yet, but tonight gave me clarity. I realized this organization aligns perfectly with my life’s purpose — cultivating the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs through mentorship, discipline, education, sports, and brotherhood.

Deep gratitude to President Troy Vincent, President Elect Vaughn Irons, and the entire 100 Black Men of DeKalb family for embracing me and giving me the opportunity to serve alongside some of the most impactful Black men in the country.

Tonight I witnessed Black excellence on a level that truly inspired me. I’m just grateful to be in the room. The impact we are about to make in DeKalb County is going to be legendary. 🖤💛
