We started our day yesterday watching the sunrise high above the clouds. Trey has been doing a remote internship this summer with a renewable energy lab here in Golden, Colorado. He was invited to visit and I am the lucky one that was able to come along to sightsee after he gets finished. ❤️

We said goodbye to Florence this morning by taking a thirty minute walk through the city, with luggage in tow, to the train station. (Once again thankful that we travel light!) Cab drivers there decided to go on strike leaving many tourists to figure out their own way around. Made it to Venice this afternoon and ended our day with a ghost tour around the city. Can’t wait to explore some more tomorrow. This place really does look like something out of a movie!🇮🇹❤️🇮🇹
