Next up, I’ll be caulking the floor to wall joints and painting the final boards on the floor. The rest of my material for the inside build will be arriving this week as the floor dries and cures a little more.

I can’t wait see the inside start to come to life!

Here is what I have left of my 5️⃣🦌 chick and 🔟🦌 grow out special for anyone still wanting silkies.

Did you know… if you set your phone down in the run with the camera on… it’s endless entertainment 🤣

I’ve gone crazy! 5️⃣🦌 each for blue, black, splash, white, and possibly a few other colors on a FCFS basis.

👀👀👀 I also have a few grow outs, but you must come see those in person as I don’t have time to list them.

I have 3 incubators about to hatch and still have about 50 chicks to move. After this, I’ll be done hatching for a bit while I turn my attention to the silkie barn. So this weekend only, I am dropping my asking 💲 on them.

Yesterdays task: primer coat #1 on the barn floor

And yes… before anyone asks… the photos ARE me trying to squeeze every last drop of primer out of the tray 😂 I was determined to get coat 1 done with the first can. Coat #2 up next.

But honestly? She’s on her way and I’m OBSESSED already.

Yall… I just got the call!!! My silkie barn is on its way 🤩 I cannot wait to bring this vision to life. I think the scale is a little off here….but my babies are going to be so happy in their new barn.
