The Last Healthy Generation Before Processed Food Took Over...
Before food became industrialized, obesity, fatty liver disease, and type 2 diabetes were dramatically less common.
There are people alive right now who remember a completely different food world.
Breakfast was eggs.
Dinner was meat, vegetables, butter, soup, potatoes, homemade bread.
Kids drank water and milk more than fluorescent sugar drinks.
Most people were not obsessing over protein bars, calorie apps, “heart healthy” snack packs, or eating six times a day.
And something else was different.
Type 2 diabetes was dramatically rarer.
Fatty liver disease in children was almost unheard of.
Extreme obesity was uncommon enough that people noticed it immediately.
Then the food system changed.
Slowly at first.
Then all at once.
Real meals became packaged products.
Ingredients became chemicals.
Sugar started appearing everywhere.
And ultra-processed food quietly replaced the diet humans had eaten for generations.
Now many people feel hungry all day…
exhausted after meals…
unable to stop cravings…
and trapped in bodies that feel inflamed, foggy, and overwhelmed.
The strange part?
We often blame ourselves for struggling inside an environment specifically engineered to override appetite, reward pathways, and satiety.
This is not nostalgia.
It is pattern recognition.
The farther society moved from real food…
the sicker society became.
And deep down, most people already know it.
