Good morning, friends! 🤠☀️

I was thinking about something this morning that I believe a lot of us need to remember from time to time.

Not every trail is yours to ride. Not every argument is yours to win.

Sometimes the strongest thing you can do is protect your peace, tip your hat, and keep moving forward.

The older I get, the more I realize that every distraction doesn't deserve my attention and every disagreement doesn't deserve my energy. Some folks are looking for a traveling companion, and some folks are looking for a traffic jam.

I've learned that life gets a whole lot better when you focus on the people who love you, the goals you're working toward, and the blessings sitting right in front of you.

So as you head into today, be kind, work hard, help somebody if you can, and don't let anyone pull you off the trail you're meant to be riding.

Now grab that coffee, take a deep breath, and let's make it a good one. ☕🤠

And as always, thank you for all the kindness, support, comments, messages, laughs, and conversations. This page wouldn't be the same without each and every one of you, and I appreciate you more than you know.

🚨 THE LIVING ROOM PORTRAIT THEY TRIED TO WARN YOU ABOUT 🚨

So my friend Ayme from Unique Embroidery & Gifts told me she had a little surprise for me at work.

Y'all... she handed me this sequined American flag cowboy hat, and apparently there was a pageant boy hiding deep in my soul just waiting for his moment. 🤣

The second I put it on, I started having flashbacks to every aunt, uncle, cousin, neighbor, church lady, and mysterious family member who had a giant Glamour Shots portrait hanging in the living room.

You know the look...

One hand under the chin. Looking off into the distance like you just got dumped by a country singer. Soft focus so strong nobody actually knew what you looked like. A portrait so big it could be seen from space.

And if you didn't have Glamour Shots, then you probably had Sears, JCPenney, Olan Mills, Kmart, or some photographer at the county fair who made everybody look like they were about to drop a gospel album. 😂

Well, apparently 1989 called and said, "Carl Ray, it's your turn."

So tell me...

Is this giving Glamour Shots?

Is this giving Poppy on the loose?

Or is this giving somebody come get your daddy before he starts signing autographs at the Piggly Wiggly? 🤠✨🤣

🤠 Y’all… I may have accidentally created a little piece of Western heaven at Simply Trendy in Conway SC today! 😂

Just look at this cute display I put together featuring some of the Western wear, handbags, jewelry, boots, and accessories we currently have available. Between the Wrangler bags, turquoise jewelry, cowboy hats, and those gorgeous boots, I was over here trying real hard not to bring half the display home with me. 🤠✨

If you've been looking for that perfect Western touch, a new handbag, a fun accessory, or just need a little retail therapy, come take a stroll through and see what catches your eye. There are so many unique finds tucked all throughout the shop!

I hope your coffee is strong, your heart is light, and your boots are pointed in the right direction this morning.

One thing I've been thinking about lately is how much better this world would be if we all looked out for each other just a little more. Take care of yourself, absolutely. Protect your peace. Chase your goals. But don't forget to lend a hand when someone needs it, offer a kind word when you can, and be the reason somebody smiles today.

You don't have to agree with everyone.
You don't have to walk the same trail as everyone.
But we can all choose kindness.

A good neighbor looks out for their own fence, but they also wave at the folks on the other side of it.

The world doesn't need more division. It needs more people willing to show up, help out, and remember we're all trying to make our way through this thing called life.

So today, take care of yourself.
Take care of others.
And leave the trail a little better than you found it. 🤠❤️

The world can be loud, but there is a lot of wisdom in a quiet evening and a grateful heart.

Tonight, rest easy. Tomorrow is a brand new sunrise, a fresh cup of coffee, and another chance to keep riding toward the things that matter most.

Sometimes the best parts of Conway aren't the places everybody sees.

They're the little alleys, hidden corners, colorful murals, and quiet pathways that tell the story of our town.

Today I wandered through Teal Alley, explored a few downtown treasures, and eventually found myself standing in the heart of Conway surrounded by history, beauty, and a whole lot of hometown pride.

That's one of the things I love most about this place. You never know what you'll discover when you slow down and take a different path.
