Choosing to Excel

Choosing to Excel wants to extend a thank you to the DREAM Foundation of Central Arkansas and the Conway Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated for the $500 donation awarded to us this weekend.

The Dream GAMEDAY program recognizes students and local organizations, granting scholarships and donations from money raised by the community. Two members of our Leadership Team were awarded scholarships as well! We are so proud of these young ladies, and glad that their hard work and determination was recognized at this event. Congratulations Kelsie and Miyah!

This week, members of Choosing to Excel’s Leadership team had the privilege of traveling to Washington, D.C. to meet with legislative representatives, Senators John Boozman and Tom Cotton and Representative French Hill. They shared the importance of funding programs like Choosing to Excel that empower youth in their communities to make healthy choices and avoid risky behaviors.

These young leaders represented their community with confidence, poise, and preparation, and we could not be more proud of the impact they are making. Their voices matter, and their dedication to creating positive change is inspiring!

They made it known, "nothing about them, without them".

2026 Summer Impact Camp starts on June 8‼️ Have you registered❓

We do so many exciting things at summer camp every year, and our core rotation days are no different. From skits, to dance, to art, to scrimmages, we try to leave no stone unturned when tapping into different interests. 🏈💃🏽🎭🏀🎨 We even spend time reading at least three times throughout the week!

The kids in each age group get to partake in various age appropriate activities everyday at camp. Over time, many become great friends all while adding to the C2E family! 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽
