We have some exciting news to share with our landowner community.

NativState has acquired Neeley Forestry Service, and we couldn't be more proud of what this means for landowners across Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas.

For over 50 years, the Neeley team has been a trusted name in forestry — the kind of folks who know your land, know your goals, and show up when it matters. That's not something we take lightly, and are the kind of relationships NativState works to build with our enrolled landowners since our founding.

If you've worked with Neeley in the past, you can expect the same faces, the same commitment, and the same quality of service — now backed by NativState's broader resources and land management capabilities.

And if you're a landowner in the Southeast looking for a forestry and forest carbon partner, we'd love to talk. Reach out to us or visit our website to learn more. 🌲

In recognition of National Pollinators Month, we’ve chosen one of the most familiar butterflies in the eastern U.S. -- the Eastern Tiger Swallowtail -- as our Species of the Month.

👀An interesting fact about this butterfly? Its “tails" or hindwings function as decoys, drawing bird strikes away from the body.
🌻If you want to attract these colorful pollinators to your yard, plant native species and skip the pesticides.
🌘Nocturnal migrations can be disoriented due to light pollution, but turning off porch lights at night can help.

In our latest episode of Forest Matters, we continue the conversation about Sustainable Forest Certification and what it means for landowners enrolled in a forest carbon project. NativState VP of Forestry Tim White digs into the importance of keeping good records. (Hint: Good business and good forestry).

Healthy land works harder for you and for future generations.

Biodiversity at the local level is what keeps your land resilient. A mix of native trees, plants, and wildlife improves soil health, supports water quality, reduces erosion, and creates a stronger ecosystem that can better withstand extreme weather and pests. Diverse forests are more productive, more stable, and more valuable over time.

As a landowner, you have a unique opportunity to make an impact that reaches far beyond your property lines.

By enrolling in a forest carbon program with NativState, you can:
• Protect and enhance the natural biodiversity on your land
• Contribute to meaningful climate solutions
• Generate income through carbon credits
• Leave a lasting legacy of stewardship

Your land can help support healthier ecosystems locally while addressing global environmental challenges.
