We’re heading into the fourth week of Unearth a Story, and the library is buzzing with imagination, creativity, and a little bit of puppet‑powered adventure.

Our friends from Roz Puppets return with Dinosaur Pirates, a story “a million years in the making.” It’s a special‑time performance you won’t want to miss.
Thursday — Messy Play
Bring your curiosity and your willingness to get a little messy. This hands‑on favorite is back and ready for big creativity.
Friday — Summer Reading Family Story Time
End the week with stories, wonder, and a room full of readers discovering something new together.
Another week full of ways to explore, imagine, and unearth something delightful at your library.

🎶 A brand‑new summer treat is headed our way!
The Fab 5 Woodwind Quintet will be at the library on Tuesday, June 30 at 6 PM, and we can’t wait to welcome them for the very first time.

Join us for an evening of lively tunes from members of the Kalamazoo Concert Band as we celebrate summer — and the nation’s 250th birthday — with a splash of red‑white‑and‑blue spirit. It’s a rain‑or‑shine concert: we’ll spread out on the lawn if the weather is kind, or move indoors if it’s not. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and grab some ice cream from the Olde Time Waffle Cone truck while you enjoy the music. It’s shaping up to be a perfect summer night.
This program is free and open to the community. To reserve your spot, call the library, send a DM, or visit the front desk to add your name.

A drop‑in hour of hands‑on sensory fun for ages 0–4.
Think squishy textures, bright colors, bubbly stations, and curiosity‑powered exploring. It’s all the joy of making a glorious mess… without any of the cleanup.
