Plague Nurse Rattery

These lovely guys are headed off to their new home!

I love dumbo ear rats so much. The agouti and drex are brothers but the marten is their younger little nephew.

As my first post to offer actual adoptable animals I’m here to present both ends of the spectrum.

First three photos are of a docile and very pretty chocolate standard coat female. She is four months old. More photos of her siblings will follow soon. She must be adopted with another female or to a home with ladies of similar age hoping to add another.

Second is an 8 month male available to a good SINGLE rat home without females.

Let me explain. Normally I insist my rats go in pairs but he is the exception. Sir has hormonal aggression in the presence of females. Alone without females nearby he is docile and friendly. I’ve tested him and had no issues with this guy when he is secluded from them. He also can’t be with other males. He has attacked other males more than once in the past even without females nearby.

Which makes it feel cruel to keep him here.
