A female polar bear with her two cubs on the ice . . . Svalbard, Norway. Our third adventure with Arctic Wildlife Tours, this time onboard the M/V Freya. I highly recommend Arctic Wildlife Tours for an in-depth look and feel of Svalbard.

Like many others, I have been perusing my underwater photography at shots I either overlooked or just didn't process. This photo was taken at Lembeh Straits, Indonesia, circa 2016, the last time I have been diving. It's a tomato anemone fish, who has a symbolic relationship with sea anemones.
Have I missed diving? Maybe but I haven't missed lugging around underwater camera equipment nor have I enjoyed cleaning up my backgrounds with backscatter. Someone's photo of manta rays with tons of backscatter . . . she called it "pixie dust."
