A lot of the PC gaming hardware conversation right now feels very familiar: higher prices, louder hype, and more pressure to upgrade whether it actually makes sense or not.

Most people do not need the most extreme rig on the market. They need solid performance, good reliability, reasonable thermals, and hardware that actually feels worth the money.

That’s the part the industry sometimes forgets. Bigger numbers and more expensive parts do not automatically equal a better experience. Sometimes it just means you paid extra for bragging rights and a hotter power bill.

If your “upgrade” costs more than your common sense can justify, it may not actually be an upgrade.
