"I'm exhausted. I'm ready to sell my business."

What would you tell that entrepreneur?

Jeremy Laurence's answer:

"Suit up and show up."

Entrepreneurs are resilient, but resilience doesn't mean isolation.

Find your people.
Talk honestly.
Stop carrying everything alone.

The breakthrough often begins when you're willing to tell the truth about what you're feeling.

What’s one thing in your life or business that would start changing if you ran toward it instead of waiting for the perfect moment?

A new opportunity.
A bigger goal.
A conversation that could move things forward.
A challenge that’s been sitting on the sidelines too long.

That was the heart of this morning’s conversation.

Member Bryan Rennell shared a perspective on the age old story of David and Goliath that stuck with all of us.

The about David, he didn’t hang back and wait.

As it says in 1 Samuel 17:48, David literally ran toward the giant. He closed the distance.

Not recklessly. Not because he wasn’t afraid, as he probably was.

But because he trusted God and the skills he’d spent years developing.

That made the next part of the morning even more meaningful.

Our seasoned business owners who have been leading companies for 10, 15, 20, and even 30 years to stand and share a piece of wisdom with the room.

As they stood together, it was a reminder that none of them built successful businesses by waiting for perfect conditions.

They’ve all faced their own giants:

Economic downturns.
Hiring challenges.
Cash flow issues.
Tough decisions.
Unexpected setbacks.
Moments when quitting would have been easier.

Yet the reason they were standing there wasn’t because they avoided challenges. It was because they kept moving toward them.

Like David, they didn’t have all the answers or someone else’s armor.

They took the next step, learned through experience, and kept showing up year after year.

No theory.
No motivational slogans.

Just lessons earned through decades of leadership, mistakes, growth, customers, setbacks, payroll, and perseverance.

It was one of those mornings that reminds you why being around experienced people matters.

Sometimes the answer isn’t another podcast, book, or YouTube video.

Your environment is shaping your conversations more than you think.

We used to have our weekly planning meetings in the evenings when we were tired, exhausted, and running on empty.

Now, every Sunday morning, we grab coffee and spend intentional time planning, communicating, and leading together.

The result?

Better conversations.
Better decisions.
Better relationships.

Whether you're leading a business, a team, or your family, don't overlook the power of when and where you meet.

What's your ideal environment for important conversations?

The higher you climb, the fewer people there are willing to challenge you.

That's one thing Blake realized in his life and owning his own business.

For a lot of business owners and leaders, nobody's asking the hard questions anymore. Nobody's following up. Nobody's holding them to the commitments they made last week.

That's why accountability matters.

Not because someone is keeping score, because that's not what accountability is truly about it.

Growth happens when someone cares enough to ask, "Hey, how'd that go?"

Blake talked about the power of sharing wins, struggles, gratitude, and accountability with people who've walked through similar seasons of life and business.

And to be honest, that's what makes these Friday mornings together so valuable.

Not having all the answers is what we've grown to appreciate because, when you realize you're surrounded by people who are willing to help you find them - that's the sign that you're in the right room..

If you're a business owner in Conroe, The Woodlands, Magnolia, Willis, or Montgomery and you've been looking for a room like that, come be our guest on any Friday morning at

📌 Honor Cafe - downtown Conroe
🕢 7:30a - 9:30a

and see just how the right room can elevate you.

The rooms you're in are shaping your future.

Your home.
Your office.
Your church.
Your coffee shop conversations.
Your circle of influence.

Every environment is either raising your standards or lowering them.

The wrong environment keeps you isolated and comfortable.

The right environment challenges you, sharpens you, and holds you accountable.

Ask yourself:

👉 What rooms am I spending time in?
👉 Who am I becoming because of those environments?
👉 Are they helping me grow?

If this prayer encouraged you, pass it on.

Someone you know might need it today.

There was a moment this morning that reminded us why this room matters.

One of our members shared that he and his wife are expecting their third child.

As he stood in the middle of the room, the conversation shifted.

Not to business.
Not to marketing.
Not to growth strategies.

Instead, men who had already walked that road stepped in and shared what they’d learned.

The joys.
The challenges.
The things they wished someone had told them sooner.

There was encouragement.
There was wisdom.
There was laughter.

And there was a genuine desire to help another man step confidently into the next season of his life.

That’s the kind of thing that happens when people stop competing and start showing up for each other in ways that truly matter.

A lot of business owners can find advice.

But what’s a lot harder to find, is a room where people genuinely care about who you’re becoming as a husband, wife, parent, leader, and person.

That’s what made this morning special.

IF someone has been a source of wisdom during an important season of your life 👉TAG them and allow them to feel seen too!

You can't control everything that happens to you.

You CAN control how you respond.

In this Level Up + Live clip, Jason explains why mindset is one of the most important factors in personal and business growth.

Every challenge gives you two choices:
➡️ "Why me?"
➡️ "What can I learn?"

The answer often determines your future.
