We made it to the Watertown Farm Show
Nova & Lucy settled right in. 💥 Tomorrow is the big day!

It has been a lot of fun working the girls but the time has come for them to get Shown and Sold.

February 12, 2025 is Show day. Angus Show at 9 am. Herfords follow immediately after ● Sale starts at 12:30 with Angus first and Herfords immediately after.

If your looking for a gentle heifer, either Nova or Lucy will due.

✅️ Nova is long bodied, with depth and dimension with a feminine look. You can breed and show Nova all summer ☀️ while having confidence in knowing she will become a great foundation cow for your herd.

✅️ Lucy is a moderate framed, deep bodied heifer that has a lot of class and style. Lucy would make a great 4H project. She is a replica of her mother, who is a very nice cow in the herd.

As everyone is getting ready to head to the Watertown Farm Show I thought I'd share Savannah's last year she showed at the Farm Show. Savannah won Grand Champion 🏆 Female and Grand Champion Showmanship. She had a good show that year.

Now for 2025 - Come and join us as Lola helps Hansmeiers Herefords exhibit their two lots. Scroll back a few posts and you will see the Hereford Heifer's. Both heifers are gentle and ready for a forever home. Message the page and we will put you in touch with the owner.

All's quiet for now,
The lights will get flipped on,
For the buyers that come to town.

The wind is a'blow'in,
Snows drifting across the road,
It's a South Dakota winter,
Auctioneer will yell sold.

We may not have feeders,
Butchers for today,
Ol'man winter calls the shots,
Mother Nature leads the way.

We'll see you at sale time,
We will do what we can,
The Lord up above,
Sometimes has another plan.
