Hi there friends! Check out what's going on with me these days! I have partnered with my friend Rene, to open HART Healing Arts of New Hampshire LLC. We plan to host an open house on Saturday, August 1st. Please check out our new page, "Like" us!! we will keep you posted on the details for the open house. A couple of weeks ago, we did a paper folding project and made paper lanterns. The kids were really inspired and made beautiful lanterns! So, i researched some other paper folding projects and these look awesome.. paper flower/snowflakes and paper flower balls. I made a few myself, and they are a lot of fun and look really cool!
If your kiddo is coming this coming Tuesday, please let me know and if you have any old magazines you could donate that would be great...even advertisement flyers from newspapers! Thanks and I'll see you Tuesday at 9:30! :)

ARTY KIDS this past Tuesday... stained glass (tissue paper on glass jars) candle light globes and a BONUS project, that was a huge hit; paper lanterns!

Last week's ARTY KIDS was a small group, so i thought we might re-visit "Fun with Plastic Bottles"! i have a pretty good supply of stuff/(materials) here , but if you have any recyclables that we could turn into cool stuff, ie: liquid laundry detergent bottles, 2 liter or bigger juice or soda bottles or whatever. (i won't make you take back what they don't use, unless the kids want to do a project at home.)
i am looking to get a head count for tomorrow, so please let me know if your kiddo is coming or not. Thanks, and see you tomorrow! :)

Yesterday's ARTY KIDS was a small group, but a lot of fun! We made bird feeders from plastic water bottles, plastic flower pots and plastic food container lids. The girls did a great job...they look so proud!

Here are a few ideas we will be exploring today with repurposing plastic bottles! So fun!

This week's ARTY KIDS project is going to be crafts made from plastic bottles!! there are SO MANY really cool ideas out there that are really fun and simple to do!! I'm researching a few at the moment.
If your child is planning on coming this Tuesday, have them pick a few plastic bottles (soda, juice, laundry or whatever...) out of your recycle bin and bring them along.
Also, just so I can set up our workspace accordingly, please chime in here, to let me know if your kiddo is coming this week 9:30- Noon on the porch. I'll post photos of some ideas in a bit! See you all soon and have a great Sunday!

this was yesterday ARTY KIDS SUMMER SERIES project, painted laminate mobiles! They looked so beautiful and colorful all hanging up together and the kids had a lot of fun making them!
(this would certainly be a fun project for adults too, i love making and seeing the mobiles in my own space!)
