We’ve had a few people ask what the deal is with the Total Auto Performance name.

SS LSX Tuning and Performance will always be a big part of who we are. We built our name specializing in LS and LT platforms, and that’s not changing. Corvettes, Camaros, CTS-Vs, ZL1s, Z06s — that’s still our foundation.

But over the years, our scope of work has expanded. We’re taking on more high-end performance builds, light fabrication, exotic platforms, and projects that go beyond what the “LSX” name fully represents. And let’s be honest, you can’t exactly slap an LSX sticker on an R8 lol

This Audi R8 twin turbo build is a perfect example of where we’re headed. Same standards, same attention to detail, same mindset just on a broader range of platforms.

SS LSX isn’t going away. Total Auto Performance is just the next step.

A few dyno hits from this week.

The shop has been wide open lately, but we’re still steady knocking cars out and getting them dialed in.

Creative Steel 8.8 diff install going in on this clean V1 CTS-V.

We don’t see many of these cars in the shop anymore, but this one is getting the right upgrades first. The factory rear setup has always been one of the weak points on these cars, so the 8.8 conversion is a solid move for anyone wanting to actually put power down and enjoy the car with confidence.

They always seem to come in pairs! We just wrapped up the install and tuning on these supercharged LS3 c6 corvettes.

This little T-trim blower is putting in work on this forged LS7.

93/m**h: 811whp / 784wtq
E85/m**h: 863whp / 819wtq

This car has strong and usable powerband. It carries power up top while still making a ton of torque through the midrange. Which is exactly what this customer wanted.

Forged LS7, T-trim blower, m**h, E85, and a solid tune. A simple setup with great results.

Stage 2 C7Z wrapped up and back on the street.
Clean install, clean sound, and a setup that completely changed the car while keeping it street friendly. 4 hour trip home to Charleston SC.
