It was the best of times…it was the worst of times (JK it was the best - except for the result)

Hitchhiked to from Dallas. Chuck picked me up and wouldn’t stop making me do pushups all weekend. My parents were grounded in Dallas, so there was no saving me. He made me eat 2 🌯 ,🦞 and anything else he could find.

It was by far the most __ race weekend in a while. (Insert any of these - focused, hardworking, independent, relaxed, progressive, exhausting, fun)

Special thanks to Gary and Chuck for making this happen. Thanks to my parents for trusting me to give it a go alone. None of this happens without them. I qualified much better, I drove well, just made a couple costly mistakes.

Messy weekend, but the next one… we put it together.

Fast all weekend.
Top 10 pace every session-but racing is about ex*****on- and I did not always execute when it mattered.

Qualified P13•H1 P23•H2 P21•H3 P13
Started the final P20.
Up to P15… then one mistake on lap 3 sent us back to P29.
Drove it back to P19.

Speed is there.
Now it’s about living on the edge… without falling off it.
Remembering:
•we don’t mow grass with the KA
•we don’t chop wood with the wheel
•slicks are made for rolling not drifting
•I always look 👀 bigger on the scales

Built it from the ground up Friday night — 6 hours, every bolt, every detail.
Showed up ready to run… and the kart had other plans.
Fast motor, zero stability. Fighting it every lap — spin, catch it, spin again. Turns out it wasn’t me… cracked chassis, completely done.
That explains riding on two wheels and spins through Turn 7 like I was in a circus act 🎪
Not the day I planned, but part of the game. We rebuild, we come back faster. 🏁
