Therapies for treating vision loss are advancing all the time and improving life for individuals who are blind and visually impaired.

Future In Sight is working on behalf of the NH Governor's Commission on Disability to offer the NH Telecommunications Equipment Assistance Program (NH-TEAP) to residents of New Hampshire with vision loss, hearing loss, and challenges to speech and mobility.

This program helps these individuals acquire an accessible landline OR mobile phone plus provides training on how to access emergency services.

Phones are available at up to a 50% discount to individuals who qualify for the program based on the disabilities mentioned above. In some cases, the cost of the phone may be fully covered.

Kerensa D.’s son, Noah, has been legally blind since he was born. After discovering Future In Sight when Noah was in second grade, he participated in every one of our activities he could, learning and having fun along the way.

Even though the Walk For Sight was a month ago, it feels like it was only yesterday! If you are still basking in the Walk For Sight glow like we are, make sure to save the date for the 2027 Walk For Sight on Saturday, May 15th in Downtown Concord, NH.

Future In Sight is looking for a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). This is a part-time remote position - perfect for someone licensed in NH that is looking for supplemental income or is not available full-time. Great opportunity for someone nearing retirement or semi-retired!

In collaboration with the Adult Vision Rehabilitation Manager, the LICSW will lead and expand the organization’s teletherapy counseling program, intended to improve adjustment to vision impairment and blindness.
