Hey everyone thx for all well wishes and prayers. The western part of NC definitely needs our support. I’m back home this week and will be reaching out to get you scheduled for service.

Caliber plumbing will be closed this week. I am headed with North Carolina Baptist Missions to assist with the aftermath of Helene. I plan to be back working next week. Everyone have a safe week.

It’s going to be cold the next few night.
Here are some things to help.
1, drip your faucets over night. Hot and cold side.
2, if you’re on a crawl space put a space heater in the crawl space.
3, have sinks on exterior walls? Open the cabinets.
4, if you have a well, put a lamp (incandescent bulb) or small space heater by your well
Pump or wrap it in a blanket and put the cover back on.

Big install for caliber plumbing. Wingate social house will be coming soon to Wingate NC. In the old fire department building next to campus security. Slab rough complete, ready for inspection.

Maintaining tankless units are critical.
This unit was 6 yrs old. Had a pinhole leak in the heat exchanger which leaked into the bottom water of the tankless causing the electrical to short out and trip GFI outlet. The tankless went out over the weekend when tech support was closed. I was able to diagnose the issue Monday morning, and get the parts ordered luckily still
Under warranty. Then we had to wait for the parts to be shipped, So today we broke the system down replaced the parts and put it back together. The repair went smooth but the customer was without hot water for 5 days.
With tankless water heater you need to have them descaled annually or have a water softner to help prevent these types of issues.

Got a leak in the crawl space I can help with that.
This customer had their crawl space sealed and they found some leaking drain lines.
The kitchen drain line was rusted out the bottom and draining slow. And the laundry was connected independently to the main drain and not vented well.
I cut out the leaking pipe and connected the the laundry and kitchen together. tying them to a larger size pipe. Now no leaking pipe and better draining kitchen and laundry.

It’s nice when a project comes together.

Even big pipes can freez.
1-1/4 rpz for a local business froze over Christmas and split. I replaced the rpz with one can be easily serviced in the future if they have anoth issue.

Need new gas logs or need existing repaired. I Can do that too.

What was once a wood burning fireplace requiring continual cleaing, is now able
To be turned on by remote and most of the heat goes into the home instead of up the chimney.

There are many parts to redoing a bathroom. My job is to make sure the pretty stuff fits and works.
Set and installed new rough plumbing for a free standing tub and new shower locations.
