SURGERY UPDATE! God is good!
A personal health update đđž what a start to the year. I didnât think Iâd be here experiencing health issues that have resurfaced since my accident. But just want to express my deep gratitude to everyone whoâs been covering me and my family in prayer! I am also very thankful for our church leadership and community that have supported us during this time! Prayers appreciated in this season. Love you all!
This Christmas season Iâve been contemplating the phrase, âItâs not about religion, itâs about relationship.â And I understand what people are trying to protect, the heart behind following Jesus. But Scripture doesnât throw the word religion away. It actually redeems it.
James 1:27 tells us that pure and undefiled religion before God looks like caring for the vulnerable and living a life set apart.
A real relationship with Jesus doesnât eliminate religion. It transforms it into something beautiful, humble, and lived out in love. And in a season where we celebrate a pure Savior given to the world, we are reminded that He did not come to abolish true religion but to give us one that is holy, compassionate, and real.

In a world that pushes division, we choose unity. My brother and I lift our hands to the same Savior, covered by the same blood. This is what real strength looks like, men unashamed to worship boldly and stand on truth. Lord, raise up more men like this in our nation.

Itâs my wifeâs birthday today, and Iâm feeling emotional as I think about the season weâre in with our baby girl. From meeting in the middle of COVID, to me flying down to Florida just to ask your dad for permission to court you, to our unforgettable engagement thanks to Montell and Kristin Jordan, to standing together in a presence-centered weddingâand now watching you step into motherhoodâyouâve been the greatest gift of my life. I love you, I cherish you, and I thank God for you. Happy Birthday, baby!

I am not here to debate political rhetoric! Rather I want to challenge you! Where is God calling you to stand boldly for truth even if itâs unpopular. How can you pursue righteousness and justice in your own sphere with courage and determination.
