💫Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and serves as a powerful reminder of the ongoing pursuit of justice, equality, and opportunity for all. It is a time to reflect on our shared history, celebrate the contributions of Black Americans, and engage in meaningful conversations about building stronger and more inclusive communities.

💫This family-friendly event is open to everyone and will feature:

-Community speakers
-Reflections on the significance of Juneteenth
-Opportunities to connect with neighbors and local organizations
-Youth and family engagement
-A welcoming space for learning, celebration, and unity

🌱Our Multicultural Garden Program engages youth in hands-on gardening, botany, environmental stewardship, cultural exchange, and leadership development.

🌸This initiative transforms our community garden space into a place where youth from diverse cultural backgrounds grow culturally significant foods, learn sustainable agricultural practices, and share their heritage through food.

🌿Our garden program is a space for growth, leadership, and connection, and it cultivates opportunity, belonging, and empowerment for the youth we serve.

💫Project S.T.O.R.Y. is participating in NH Gives, New Hampshire’s largest statewide day of giving! The 24-hour online fundraising event begins at 5:00 PM on June 9 and ends at 5:00 PM on June 10, bringing together thousands of donors to support nonprofits across the Granite State.

💫Since 2021, Project S.T.O.R.Y. has been dedicated to empowering youth from culturally diverse communities in Concord through educational programming, leadership development, holistic support, and community advocacy. Today, we serve more than 130 youth and young adults, helping them build confidence, develop leadership skills, and achieve their goals.

💫Your support during NH Gives helps us continue providing:

✏️After-school enrichment and mentoring programs
⭐️Leadership development opportunities
🌍Cultural celebration and community-building events
📚Academic support and educational resources
⚽️Recreational, arts, and wellness activities

🌱By spending structured learning time in NH outdoors, our youth develop skills and knowledge of their environment and themselves. They learn wilderness safety, NH animals, plant identification, environmental science, and more!

🌱Understanding the environment provides a sense of security, confidence, and knowledge. Leadership concepts supplement our Outdoor Education program to provide our youth with the tools needed to become leaders and change-makers in their communities.
