Maggie's Kitty Rescue

Maggie’s Rescue feeds feral kitties each evening. This is Star, one of the ferals in the colony. She passed away earlier this week. By the time she could be caught, it was too late. She passed at the vet’s office. She was such a sweet kitty. One of my favorite memories of her was just hanging with her after feeding time as seen in this pic. RIP sweet girl. 🌈❤️

Meet Minnie! She is looking for her forever home. She has been spayed and all vaccines are up-to-date. She is the definition of curious. Is such a sweet pea. She will be a friend for life.

This is a picture of my Grandmother Maggie Alston, the namesake of the rescue. This picture was taken approximately 100 years ago in the 1920’s on her homestead in Eastern North Carolina. She was a true lover of kitties and as you can see she is holding two little kittens in the photo. I am carrying on that tradition through both rescue and TNR work via this non profit organization.
