OUR JUNE 13 GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING WILL OCCUR TOMORROW AT 11 AM. EAA Hanger Compton Airport. All are welcome to come by.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SATURDAY'S MEETINGS HAVE BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO THE INABILITY OF OUR SPEAKER TO ATTEND PLUS MULTIPLE ABSENCES OF BOARD MEMBERS.

WE WILL MOVE THESE MEETINGS TO JUNE 13 AND PROVIDE YOU MORE DETAIL IN COMING DAYS.

The Art of Epoxy and Fiberglass Layup -A Hands-On Workshop

Saturday May 2, 2026 – 11:AM. EAA Hangar 1017 W Alondra Blvd.Compton Airport 90220
Join us for a hands-on epoxy demonstration where attendees will learn the basics of fiberglass wet layup. Each participant will get the opportunity to mix epoxy, layup fiberglass, and create their own composite sample to take home. All materials and safety equipment will be provided. No prior experience needed. Your part will cure after the session and be available to pick up at the next General Membership meeting in June. This is a great opportunity to get familiar with composite techniques commonly used in homebuilt aircraft construction.

This tour of the Sling Aircraft Factory will be at the Sling facility at 3401 Airport Dr. Ste. E, Torrance CA 90505 at 11 AM on April 4. Please arrive promptly. This event is limited to 30 people on a first come, first in, basis. Requests over 30 attendees will be placed on a wait list should there be a last minute cancellation.
