Jacob turned up the heat this past week to show that he is a force to be reckoned with. He finished the game with 8 Tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and a Pick 6. Keep that fire as you head into playoffs. Give it up for Jacob‼️

Donnie Johnson is a natural born playmaker. During the off-season he shocked tons of coaches with his ability to make big time plays against the best in SoCal. One event specifically was the “I Am Gifted” camp in Riverside County. Making his presence at the varsity level at an early age, he shows the talent, passion, and grit that every great QB has shown. This past Friday he connected with 13 out of 25 targets accounting for 2 touchdowns and 120 passing yards. Great job Donnie!

Jayden Garcia is a junior NT/FB and has steadily been building on his second year as a varsity starter. After battling a hip injury that held him out for 2 months in the summer, Jayden is starting to find his groove as the playoffs approach. Against El Camino High School, he was a game wrecker at the line of scrimmage. Whether he was at nose guard where he consistently got pe*******on to disrupt the run game and get in the face of the QB to apply pressure. Or it was moving defenders off the line at fullback, Jayden made his presence felt all game. Great job Jayden!

Elvin makes his presence known on the football field both on the offensive line and defensive line, exemplifying his hard work he dominates anyone that is unfortunate enough to line up in front of him. Elvin accounts for 15 pancakes, 7 tackles, and 1.5 sacks. Great job Elvin‼️🐺🐺🐺

Oliver Myers is a senior and captain of the GHC football program. Oliver plays every snap like it’s his last and has been helping to clear the way for the ball carrier all season. On Thursday against Taft, he enjoyed scoring his first points of the season on Senior Night. Great job Oliver 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🐺🐺🐺

Ted made his Junior debut this past Friday and led his team in tackles. This was Ted’s first game of the season after suffering an injury and he made his presence known as the team swept their opponent 61-0, solidifying their 10th straight Mayor’s Cup win ‼️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
