The Impact of Changes to College Accreditation | NEA Join fellow Aspiring Educators and Higher Education members on Tuesday, May 19 for a webinar to learn how potential and likely changes could impact financial aid, the value of college degrees, academic freedom, and the future of higher education.

WE DID THIS! Thousands of CTA members shared their story, signed petitions, showed up to the Capitol to fight for pregnancy leave - and now our sponsored legislation alongside Assemblymember Aguiar Curry (who has been with us from the beginning!) is now in the May Revise. 14 weeks of paid pregnancy leave will be transformational for California educators and families. Onward to ensuring this vital legislation is included in the final budget in June! –Erika Jones, CTA Secretary-Treasurer

CEA will be phone banking from May 11 through June 2 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the CEA Office. Even making a few calls can help get Mae Thomas elected and move us closer to the changes our members deserve.

We will also be canvassing in the District B area on May 16 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
