Just me doing my daily affirmations in the mirror this morning at 5am while trying to convince myself to go to work after not being able to sleep all night.

We have to do better. For them.

Please listen. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, just because it doesn’t affect you today personally doesn’t mean it isn’t affecting someone you love, someone you’re friends with, someone you see at your favorite restaurant, someone you pass in the hall at work every day, someone at the laundromat you go to, someone your kids go to school with, someone at your church, or someone you haven’t even had the pleasure of meeting yet. And if not today, what about tomorrow or next week? If it affects one of us, it really affects us all. We must do better. We all deserve to be treated with love, kindness and respect. Please do something. Speak up. Share. Voice your concerns. Call Congress. Ask people if they’re ok. Ask what you can do to help your neighbors or community. And for the love of all things good in life and for our future, vote for change.
