A friend of mine is looking to hire some singers for his church in garland on sept 14th 8:30-11:30. He’s paying $100 for the gig. He’s really needs two altos and a soprano but we’ll take more singers if he can get them. Respond to this post if you’re interested.

I am overwhelmed with the response from everyone to come and sing for my last service at Kavanaugh Methodist Church this Sunday July 13th. We have 83 singers signed up at this point. It's not too late to sign up. Text me or respond to this post if you have not signed up yet. Here are the details.
1. Address: Kavanaugh Methodist Church Park St. in Greenville, TX
2. We'll gather in the sanctuary at 8:30 am
3. We'll rehearse until about 10:30
4. The service begins at 10:55
5. Wear artist black
6. BBQ lunch after the service. Everyone is invited!
7. We will have hard copies of the music for you when you arrive.
8. If you use an Ipad, Ms. Maxwell can Airdrop it to you when you arrive
I am really looking forward to seeing everyone and to have the opportunity to sing together one more time. See you July 13th!!

Attention Kavanaugh Methodist Church Alumni Scholarship Singers, ETAMU Choir Alumni and Current ETAMJU Students!

July 13th will be my last Sunday to conduct the choir at Kavanaugh Methodist Church. I would love to have all of you come sing with me one more time. We will meet at 8:30 am for rehearsal and the service will be from 11:00 am-12:00 pm. We'll provide the music when you arrive. There will not be a need to prepare the music before July 13th, and we'll feed you BBQ after the service!! The dress will be all black (guys, not jackets). It would be great to see you all and to sing together one more time. If you can attend, please reply to this message. We need a good singer count to plan the luncheon, plan the music for the choir and to plan the choir placement. I hope to see many of you on July 13th!!!

After 16 years as the Director of Choirs and Vocal Activities at A&M-Commerce/ETAMU, I am retiring. I am grateful for the many wonderful singers and human beings who have faithfully stood in front of me and created beautiful music, shared a laugh and made lasting memories. Thank you.

Yesterday evening our outstanding voice faculty gave an amazing recital! Featuring songs, duets, trios, and arias by a variety of composers including Mozart, Donizetti, Gounod, Bizet, Fauré, and Korngold. Dr. McNally, Dr. Scaggs, and Dr. Schloneger really outdid themselves with their performance! We love our voice faculty and we couldn’t be anymore impressed and inspired by their hard work, dedication, and commitment to their students.
