Our stories and life experiences may not always be 'pretty', but if we let them- they can be moments that cultivate a character of resilience. With more resilience also comes a renewal in our dreams, visions, and purpose!

Here is a little testimony of how I got to The Blackland Ranch.

As the year comes to a close I can’t thank each of you enough for all the past, present and future support you have offered to the ranch! Whether it was booking a retreat, planting your feet on the earth as a visitor…

Many of you know the relentless effort Miss Lanita sowed into this land to make it the communal safe haven and retreat it is. What began as a 6-week apprenticeship has unfolded into a lifetime of stewardship for me. I am humbled to have the privilege to take The Blackland Ranch into 2024 alongside my family and the incredible BLR team!

Though things may be changing at the ranch, just know that at it’s core it remains the same: a retreat sanctuary prioritizing community and centering generational health and wealth— beginning with our connection to land!
