This year’s banquet will be held at the Fairlie Homeplace.

🌾🐯 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐧

We are excited to welcome 𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐲 as our new 𝐀𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 and 𝐅𝐅𝐀 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫 this summer! 💛

Mrs. Finney brings 7 years of experience in the ag classroom, with strengths in floral design and horticulture, plus a strong and engaging classroom presence. Our CDE and LDE teams are in great hands and ready to grow under her leadership! 🌱

She joins us from Bland ISD, where she has spent the past 3 years teaching 2nd grade, and she is excited to get back to her roots in agricultural education.

🐄🐐🐖 Our Junior and Senior Livestock Judging teams spent the morning putting their skills to the test at the Hunt County Fair, evaluating multiple species and competing against tough competition!

The Senior team brought home a big accomplishment by earning 🏆 3rd Overall Team!

Individual honors included:
⭐ Zoe Wilson – 5th Overall Individual
⭐ Shiloh Cameron – 7th Overall Individual
⭐ Kylee Moore – 10th Overall Individual

And yes… the Senior team showed up in matching shirts featuring the one and only Gage McWhirter 😂👏

What started as a substitute teaching assignment quickly turned into so much more this spring. From driving students to contests, coaching teams, hauling animals, lending helping hands, and keeping everyone laughing along the way, Gage has become a valued part of our Commerce FFA family. We are incredibly thankful for his support of our students and program! 💙💛

🛠️🔥 It was a LONG but successful day for the Commerce FFA Ag Mechanics team at the Hunt County Fair!

Our talented craftsmen and welders put their skills to work, building some incredible projects—and the results speak for themselves 💙💛

From blue ribbons to banners to even earning a sale spot, these students represented Commerce FFA in a BIG way!

🐂🔥 Last night was a BIG one for the Commerce FFA show team at the Hunt County Fair! 💙💛

🥈Senior Emily Carter earned Reserve Champion Steer and secured a PRIME🥩 spot in tomorrow’s Sale of Champions! What an incredible accomplishment!

And the wins didn’t stop there…

🏆 Senior Shiloh Cameron brought home her SECOND Showmanship buckle of the 2026 Hunt County Fair by winning Senior Steer Showmanship! 💥

We are so proud of the hard work and determination shown by this entire team! Here are the full results from the night:

🛠️ Let’s Hear it for Commerce FFA Ag Mech! 🛠️

Hey Commerce Tigers, it is officially show day for our incredible Ag Mech students at the 2026 Hunt County Fair! These talented builders have spent months designing and fabricating impressive projects, and now it is finally time to showcase their craftsmanship.

The show started at 8AM, but there is still plenty of time to head on out to the fairgrounds and show our Commerce FFA some massive community support! Your presence in the stands means the world to these students. Your hard work and ingenuity are an inspiration to us all. Y’all are doing great! 👍🔨
